This particular fanlisting is for Lois Lane from the Smallville TV series. I adopted it from the wonderful Hoppit in July 2007. Smallville is a re-imagining (like an alternate universe) of Clark Kent's past, before he became Superman. Lois is played by Erica Durance, and she first appeared in Season 4. She has since become a regular on the series, though her contract is only for 13 episodes each season.
I'm actually not too crazy about Smallville, but I love Lois. She's the reason for me watching the show. She's smart, sexy, and strong. She's my favorite version of Lois from among the various Superman titles. I admire her strength, her tenacity, her ability to defend herself (though that doesn't stop her from needing saving - her strongheaded nature gets her into trouble all the time), I love her sharp wit, and I love her relationships with Clark (future love interest, current friend/rival) and Chloe (her cousin). It's a lot of fun watching Lois, and I'm very happy to be running this fanlisting.
The title of fanlisting, named by Hoppit, comes from a quote in the episode "Lucy":
