According to The Fanlistings Network, a fanlisting is "a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject."

This particular fanlisting is for Eastern Gray Squirrels. As suggested by their name, they are found in great abundance in the eastern part of the United States. However, they are also very plentiful in the Midwest and in eastern parts of Canada. Additionally, gray squirrels were introduced to Europe, notably the United Kingdom, where they thrive; they are considered a pest in the UK, as they are competition to the native red squirrel. Eastern gray squirrels are not always grey- they can be black or white, and they often have some brown/reddish fur, too. Their stomachs are white.

Squirrels are my absolute favorite animals, and the Eastern Gray Squirrel is the type I have the most experience with. Although I love all types of tree squirrels, the Eastern Gray Squirrels have a special place in my heart. They are adorable and cute, very smart and charming, and I love them to bits.
